26 - Murphy Windmill

Murphy is currently more of an ex-windmill, having yet to be refurbished as was done to its sister structure, the Dutch Windmill in the northwest corner of the park.

Across the street from Murphy Windmill is a pleasant spot that is easy to get to, yet will probably provide you with all the privacy you need.
Go east from Murphy Windmill about 150 yards along MLK Jr. Drive, going about 10-20 yards past the streetlight on the right (south) side of the street. Walk in about 20 yards and you can choose from a few sunny, grassy spots.

You'll need to stay low to remain private, but don't let that deter you. Particularly given the relatively light traffic encountered at the west end of the park, you should have this spot to yourself. It's nice enough to plan on lingering for awhile.
